2024 is rapidly drawing to a close, a time for reflection on the year past and the work ahead.
BASG continued its extensive work in the banking and financial services sector while adding a focus on new industries including higher education and healthcare. As in the past, BASG’s work was divided between Risk and Regulatory Compliance and Business and Technology Alignment.
Projects on the risk side of the ledger included a major bank effort to mitigate a series of SOX deficiencies related to Access Controls and third-party identity and access management as well as evaluating and maturing Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) processes.
A good deal of the Business and Technology Alignment work was merger and acquisition related or targeted toward implementation of new systems, policies, and procedures with an emphasis on successful Change Management throughout the run of the project.
The higher education project focuses on data and updating the gathering, retaining, and centralizing of data. This will allow our Client to make better use of all the information available within its own systems.
