Business Advisory Solutions Group (BASG) is actively interviewing for a Senior Manual Tester who has experience with owning full testing efforts, start to finish. This is a sole contributor role; the person hired will not manage a team of other testers and will be fully hands on. But he/she must understand the full scope of testing, all done manually, from earliest stages to completion. Also 100% required is recent and long term (7 years or more) of banking experience!!! There will be no exceptions to that requirement.
This consulting role will begin in mid-February and run through August 2025 with possible extension. The winning candidate will join an existing team, mid-project. There is a full playbook already in place; changes to the approach, process, format, etc. will not be possible at this juncture. So, if you feel compelled to re-write or re-engineer, this is probably not the right job for you.
Work is substantially remote with some possible, but not frequent, travel to the Carolinas. The environment is supportive and collaborative and very team oriented. Great place to work!

Here is exactly what you will need to bring to the table to win this job:
- Recent and long-term MANUAL testing experience and an excitement about doing testing of this type. There is no automation in place, and none will be instituted during this project.
- Experience owning the full testing process, start to finish.
- Experience within a banking environment (recent and at least 6 – 7 years total).
- Experience as a sole contributor and a willingness to do whatever it takes to move this project across the finish line including a lot of hands-on testing.
- Any experience with consumer lending within a bank would be very valuable but is not required.
